Hey! Thanks for visiting my site.

My name is Hannah, and I’m the Program Manager at Praxis.

For a living, I help young people launch their careers.

For the sake of learning, I’m deep in the startup world (because where better to learn than where the stakes are high and the synonym for “survival” is “creation?”).

I grew up homeschooled, opted out of college, took a brief detour as a vegetable farmer (yes, really), and then became enamored with the alternative education space.

This is my internet home — my journal of the things I’m learning and building.

Before we get started, let me tell you a little about myself.

I do curriculum development and coaching for Praxis. I spend my days figuring out how to turn young people into successful professionals.

I also do a lot of writing. You can read a lot of my current writings on this site.

My Why

Philosophy: if you want to learn about something, go do it — and never stop learning.

Motto: responsibility, competence, and freedom — always.

Topics of interest: education, skipping college, career development, startups, literature, traveling, ideas, and good writing

If you want to know more about how I got started, check out this podcast episode.

I do a lot of writing on career development via the Praxis blog, which you can view here.

I’m always fascinated with what makes successful people successful. Here’s a good taste into why.

Welcome to the place where I document the journey.
